President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo embarked his working tour of Ahafo region on 12th August,2021. He begins his tour from Yamfo and he then journey to Duayaw Nkwanta "the gate way to Ahafo region". When he alighted at Duayaw Nkwanta, he first went to Jewel102.7 fm to had interactions with public.
From there, he went to the paramount chief's palace" Nana Boakye Tromo III " with some dignitaries of the state. Omanhene welcome the President and his dignitaries through his linguist(okyeame). He thanked the president for his visit and also praised him for the service he is rendering to the country. Omanhene also pleaded with the president to get at least a bus for the Presbyterian midwifery training college.
The President also thanked Nana manhene for his kindest gestures. He address Nananom and all people gathered that " I came here because of two purpose;
a. To visit all the regions in the country every year to check the work my government has been doing.
b. Listening to the voice's of the Ghanaian people.
Also, I came here to thank you and the good people of Duayaw Nkwanta and the people of Ahafo for the support you gave me and the New Patriotic party during last year's election.
He also said that, concerning the bus for the college, he will take it upon himself and get the school one as soon as possible.
