The Tano North Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Yaw Ansah, has fulfilled a pledge he made during the 2024 general elections by donating 600 chairs to all NDC branches across the constituency.
The presentation was made on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in front of the NDC constituency office at Duayaw Nkwanta, with party executives representing the various branches in attendance.

The donation, according to Hon. Yaw Ansah, forms part of his commitment to supporting the party’s grassroots structures and improving their capacity to undertake party activities at the branch level.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Ansah called on NDC members across Tano North to remain united and work together in the interest of the party.

He stressed the need for unity, discipline and commitment as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections, urging members to focus on retaining power while working to secure the Tano North parliamentary seat for the NDC.

The event brought together constituency and branch executives, who received the chairs on behalf of party members across the constituency.

The gesture has been welcomed as a practical contribution towards strengthening the party’s grassroots structures and supporting branch-level activities ahead of the next general elections.
